Our stay at the Crowne Plaza in Ventura was exceptional! The staff truly went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. From the valet team’s warm greeting and assistance with our luggage to Sydney at the front desk, who checked in daily via text to ensure our stay was going well, every detail was thoughtfully managed. Special recognition goes to Daniel, the bartender, who crafted a custom cocktail based on my preferences and shared his extensive knowledge of mixology. The dining options were equally impressive. The lobby bar and restaurant menus offered a variety of creative and delicious dishes. Highlights included the popcorn with brown butter, sage, and shaved Parmesan—unique and flavorful. The fish tacos with pomegranate seeds were a delightful combination, and the salmon toast with roasted capers was fresh and tasty. Even the desserts, ordered via room service, were exceptional. The Sambuca Raspberry Tart and Chocolate Caramel Crunch with vanilla ice cream were beautifully presented and tasted amazing. I also want to commend Gina, the outstanding General Manager. She is clearly the driving force behind the hotel’s positive atmosphere. Her leadership style is inspiring—she’s hands-on, approachable, and genuinely cares about both guests and her team. Gina was present throughout our stay, from ensuring guests were happy in the bar to assisting staff in the restaurant and even delivering desserts herself after a long day. I would definitely recommend the experience!
